Apparently, It's Possible to Achieve a peak velocity of 623 in Marinabreak.
Hi guys, I play Marinabreak's Velocity Attack (Peak) mode in this recording, and manage to get the ball going at 623 velocity. There are multiple "peaks", but you'll know when you get to the showstopper. It's about midway through the recording though. Also blindy sound Nazis, I know this recording is not the best quality and that I used stereo mix. Deal. :D
unknown2073 says Yeah, I think the paddle is pretty narrow. And it does take practice: originally, I was just hoping I could get the ball going over 100 velocity, so I could prove it when I said it. It took me 30 or so minutes, kept peaking at like 11 to 14. Never guessed it would get to 623 though, Cyborg's comment says it all in regards to my reaction to that. on March 14, 2018 8:38 pm

ironcross32 says that's bad ass, I do love this game but I suck at it because it seems to me the paddle is like one unit wide, so when the ball comes down, if its even the slightest bit off center, you won't get a hit. on March 14, 2018 1:41 pm
unknown2073 says Basically, with that mode, each time a certain number of blocks are destroyed it spawns powerups that triple the ball's velocity. When I achieved that peak, I'm pretty sure there were like 10 of those blocks waiting to be hit, and the ball just happened to smack into a bunch of them in order. Gotta love pinball, right? :) on March 13, 2018 11:20 pm
